Scammed, or just shipping damage?

When you have Zero developement, it's the seller not you. I'd reach out to them. I rarely get much of a response from ones who I knew sent me infertile eggs but it's always worth it to try.
This year I'm not going to buy eggs to hatch and will spend the money on live birds

I sent him a pretty frustrated message, and all it did was prompt him to refresh his ads to the front page on the marketplace website pretty sure he’s selling store bought eggs for 5x the price, packing them like crap and then shrugging it off like it’s a shipping damage problem, when the eggs weren’t even fertilized to begin with. I just have to accept the loss - I tell myself that’s what I get for being impatient and not waiting for the real professional breeders to start selling later in the spring.

I wish so badly that we had the US-style hatcheries here!

Winter is tricky with fertile eggs I usually don't buy in the winter for this reason. If your were closer id give you the two I have for sale. Remember patience is virtue when it comes to birds and getting what you want. Don't give up looking. If it's meant to be something will come your way!

I just ran across this thread and wanted to ask, I see that some have experimented with hatching store bought eggs and had success, what breeds did you end up with I am so curious!!
