Scammers? 'Backyard chicken local service'

Has anyone ever placed an order with 'Backyard chickens local services'? They are based in Newton, KS.

It could be a scam. I'd do further research on them if you're considering ordering. Go all over their page and read all the comments. You're looking for comments from people who have ordered from them. If over 95% of the comments are positive, then that one person had bad luck. If 80% of the comments are negative, then obvious scam. If you can't find any comments from people who have ordered from them, then don't take the chance that they are a scam.

There seem to be a lot of scams going around FB right now for poultry. I would use caution.

I try to avoid businesses with really lame names.
Who knows what other symptoms of mental laziness the business suffers from?

There are so many good places to get great birds from. If you start with eggs or chicks now, they'll be laying by the time most people are getting their chicks.
