Scared by Owl and hurt - treatment?

The movie was trash, but I sure remember that part! 00 buck is nothing to my turkey loads. 3 1/2 #4 shot Nitro Turkey. It does the job alright. For an owl or hawk I would go with the #2 waterfowl shot. I am more of an old Dukes of Hazzard guy, I have my compound bow and can pick an apple off a tree. I just can't seem to find them dynamite arrows, I could make some but I won't the percussion triggered ones. You are making me want to go coon huntin with a bow now. If you think I'm crazy you should see me frog huntin with a bow... That's gitin er done.

You're right about that, I use a Hunter's Specialty turkey choke in mine. Works like a charm for crow hunting. I'm trying to stick with the bow for now though, but come turkey season I'll be there with my shotgun. I have no idea what makes me go in my yard and shoot tweety birds with that thing but man is it fun.

Its a federal laws that make it illegal to kill hawks and owls....

Two pigeon raising guys , got fine over 60,000. for killing hawks. illegal in all 50 States , no matter what state DNR tell you.
