That is very cruel, you need to reconsider this. It hurts my heart to hear that they at least needs window or two. Or consider getting them solar lights. Regardless of why you have them they should be treated in a humane way.

Im sorry that you feel that way but It was not my idea at all it was my dads and there my dads ducks! But if it makes you feel better I went out today and took of some wood on the sides and the front which should allow them more sunlight and I have started to put supplements in there food:)

Khaki campbells also NEED to have an area to let off their energy. They are very active ducks.
My family runs a business and we don't have to time to walk around 2 acres everyday and try to find and pickup eggs! And I changed there pen yesterday! So its either eat theses ducks egges or eat these mysterious eggs from the supermarket that we don't know what they put on them and we don't know the people who raise these eggs or own the business. But as most american consumers do we eat them anyway because we have connotative dissonance. We don't know where our food comes from and who makes it so explain that to me please? And lastly if we don't know those things how do we know if the commercial eggs from the supermarket are cruelty and inhumanely collected. Tell me this image is not inhumane?

What about a nice run attached to their house so they can at least act like ducks which will help them be healthier and probably lay more eggs. Many times ducks that are kept closed up where they don't get any exercise are the ones who have egg laying issues.
