Today, I was candling the eggs and I saw a Dark spot. The first thing that came to my mind is that the chick died. The same is happening with some of the other eggs. Does the "Spot" mean somthing bad? is the chick dead? How did this happen!?!?!?

I thought the same thing.
Do you see veins, and an air sac?

The eggs are less than a week old. I saw some scratch marks inside the egg but I'm not sure they are viens. And I have no idea what an air sac is.

Sounds like you are seeing the veins and dark spots which are the embryos just like you should be.

Have you ever peeled a hard boiled egg? The flat spot on the big end is caused by the air sac, an air pocket within the egg. This should get bigger as the incubation progresses.

Ohhhh,

Thank you!!!

Finally, I'm calm. I was so scared that "IT" was dead.

THANKS,
