Scattering dust powder to kill lice and mites?

Is this product the only product that I can scatter on the corners and crevices of my coop in order to kill mites and lice?

It's $20 for a small bottle and I'm wondering if there is another product that is cheaper and more in quantity.

the only? there are dozens of dozens of products. If you search mites or lice on here you'll get many recommendations

I'm not sure what is in it, but I want to both eliminate any mites and lice and to prevent it from happening again.

On the front label, looks like the active ingredient is permethrin, so yes, it will kill lice and mites. You need to read the label to see how to apply it for effectiveness. How thick and how often. Whether to remove all bedding first or sprinkle it on top of existing bedding. Can you apply it directly to the birds, and what is the best way to do that? Read the directions.
