So sorry, I understand that all too well. Trixie could work, it's a very cute name and she's a very cute puppy

Our family has a hard time naming pets since we have so many! We also foster for the local animal shelter
so a lot of times we get to name those as well. Now we have chickens to name too!

I own two schnauzers, one is a mini and one is a standard, they great all around dogs! Great with my horses, cows, running along with the 4wheeler, camping, and cross-country skiing. Congrats!! She is sooo cute, I love the long tail!

My female is named Ava ( I love this name still) but also thought of naming her Bella, or Lucy. You could also go the german names rout (German Schnauzer) with something like Greta.

OMG! The ears! She's darling. And I'm with you on the "designer breed" thing. I'd call her a schnauzer/poodle cross too. I had a schnauzer growing up and she was a great dog.

Oh, she is SERIOUSLY a beautiful little pup!!! I like Trixie. My grandmother had a Trixie before I was born that she still talks fondly about, so that name has a "feel good" vibe to me! Have fun!!!

She is doing really well, she pretty much slept through the night, (she woke up a couple of times, licked me and then back to sleep) Our Chihuahua thinks she is the devil lol Still no name! We keep calling her, Trixie, Posey, Paisley and Tia (Twilight fans know the name) I still LOVE the name Sookie (True Blood books/movies) but DH cant stand that name and said he wont call her to come in with that name lol

I'm thrilled for you...she is a doll! I like Sookie too. I always thought If I got another I'd name her Shasta. Now, I'll have to add Sookie to my names list.
