Dawn trots happily into the office, glad she didn't run into any unwanted attention. She opens the door to her teachers office and walks to her desk and sits down.. wagging her tail, and waiting for her teacher.
 
The teacher walks in and sits down at the desk; " Hello Dawn! What's this "Good News" you mentioned?" The teacher said peppily, noticing Dawn's unusually happy mood.
"Well.." said Dawn, " I've found my power!!" Dawn said getting more excited by the moment.
"Really Dawn?!" The teacher replied happily "What is it?"
"I'm a shapeshifter!" Dawn said as though she would burst.
"That's wonderful news! Let me guess what she looks like! Long, curly, blond hair, blue eyes, defined face..." Here she was interrupted by Dawn, " actually.. it isn't like that at all... My other form is a... Bear." Dawn said a little taken back, but still happy.
The teacher looked petrified and pale, like she would faint, "A bear? How can that be? A..bear?" The teacher, seeing Dawn look less enthusiastic by the moment, paused "I'm happy for you Dawn.. I really am, can you show your other form to me? How did you figure it out?"
" Well... That's the funny thing.. I can't.." Dawn said blushing a bit.
"You can't? Why not?" The teacher said looking confused.
" I don't really know.. I did it, but I don't know how." Dawn said, her voice a bit confused herself.
"When did you do it?" Said the teacher,
" About an hour ago," said Dawn, " I was taking a walk with Cindy and her brothers in the woods, when we were suddenly attacked by a large mother bear.. then it gets fuzzy, but basically they said that a bright light flashed, and suddenly, they were being sheilded by a large, white bear.. that then fought the bear off, and after another bright flash, I was back, and the bear was gone." Dawn said shrugging.
"Okay, thanks Dawn! You can retire to your room now." The teacher said, trying to act like nothing abnormal was going on.
"Okay!" Said Dawn trotting back.
"Secretary!" The teacher shouted, though not unkindly, "Yes ma'am?" Said her secretary, " Schedule a urgent meeting with the whole school board tommorow, please." Said the teacher.
"Yes ma'am" replied the secretary... The teacher stood there baffled..

"I'm back!" Said Dawn returning, but quickly realizing everyone was asleep, she retired to her bed.

Dawn's teacher walks into the meeting room at 3:30 the next day.(right after school) she opens the large doors and precedes to her chair. The whole board was there and obviously curious why she scheduled the meeting so soon. " What is the subject of this meeting Mrs. Aniston?" Asked the president of the school. Mrs. Aniston was immediately intimidated.. the president of the school was a unusual man indeed.. he was mysterious.."It's about Dawn, we" a different teacher interrupts "What has she done NOW?" He said sounding totally put-out. "Please don't speak out of turn Jones!" The President said. Mr. Jones instantly blushed and shrunk in his seat...litteraly.. that was his power. " We have a most unusual situation Sir,(she addresses the President) We found Dawn's power." Said Mrs. Aniston. "Why that the least unusual think that we've found with Dawn! What is it?" The President said intrigued. "Well.. she is a shapeshifter.. matter of a fact, the only one in the school." Replied Mrs. Aniston nervously. "That's wonderful! I know she must have a human form! Now I know why you said it was unusual!" The president said looking relieved. "That isn't the unusual part.." Mrs. Aniston said hesitating. "What is it then?" Asked the president looking more confused. "It's her other form.. it isn't.. it isn't...human." said Mrs. Aniston. "What? How can that be? What is it then?" The President looked a bit flustered. "It, apparently, is a large, white bear." " A bear? How did you find this?". "She and Cindy were, apparently we're walking through the woods when they were attacked by a mother bear.. I guess she turned into one and fought it off." Mrs. Aniston said shrugging. "Does she have any recollection of this?" Asked the President. "No, it was Cindy who witnessed it. Said Aniston. "Bring Cindy in immediately!" Said the President. Mrs. Aniston sent her secretary out to fetch her, and they waited.

Cindy came out her red hair tied back in two braids. “What’s going on?” She frowned at the secretary
