We got japanese bantam eggs a couple of weeks ago and are due to hatch next week we got duck eggs 2 weeks ago to see better on how it forms because the bantams were too small. The bantams are due on the may 28 and the ducks june 9th how will i turn the duck eggs can i keep the turner on or will it hurt the babies. This is a hovabator 1602 i beleive it has a metal thing to make temp perfect. What will i do the chick eggs are gonna hatch before the duck eggs!

You cannot turn the eggs that are due to hatch. The chick is trying to get into hatching position at that point. I guess I would turn off the turner and hand turn the remaining eggs not ready to hatch, letting out as little humidity as possible.

could use answers please!!!

You got a good answer. I can't think of any other options. Can you take the incubator home? Or get a different incubator to put the duck eggs in with the turner? For future reference, you might want to consider not having two separate hatching dates - especially if you're not going to be able to manually turn the ones that need turning.

we dont have an extra incubator we saved up all year till spring for 1 ugh what am i going to do. I cant take it home the air will leave
