School of the Mutants ~ RP ~ players needed

Arron entered a code into the control panel at his station.

F/= speed-full.
Enter.

He waite while it loaded, facing away from the attack that he knew woul hit in .973 seconds. At the last instant, he whirled around to face the dummy. He blasted the stun gun out of his hand. Three more attacks came at him all at once. Left, right, center. He crossed his arms over each other as he switched his aim. The dummies fell to the floor.

"This is too slow. I can see it coming." He sighed.

Luna frowned, upset. She'd been doing so good lately. Why was this happening to her now? She tried to calm her ragged breathing, but an image flashing in front if her eyes, her brother falling and hitting his head, passing out. The police officer's frozen, scared face. The iced over fountain. The boy she'd liked when she was ten, the day she'd gotten her powers. His shocked, horrified face as he stared at his frozen hand, the ice spreading up his arm, neck, body, and finally, his head. Her skin became an almost translucent, snowy white. Her eyes glazed over. Her hands shaking. She'd buried those memories so deep, she'd forgotten about them till now. She dropped to the floor, tucked her wings against her back, and ran to the bathroom, ice following her feet, and locking the door behind her. She pressed her back against the door and sank down to the floor, trying to calm herself.

Amber closed her eyes, trying to focus on the wind like the professor had told her. She shivered when the wind came, circling her as she stood in the center of the room. She grew scared and the wind picked up in speed and force. Amber dropped to the floor, trying to calm herself and the wind, but all she could think of was the day she had gotten her powers and what had happened to the orphanage.
Amber started to cry as the wind swirled around her huddled form. The screams of the other kids, the house being torn apart around her, and somehow knowing that it was her fault even then.

Cress sensed a spiking level of emotion in the training room. She also knew that high levels of emotion plus superpowers is a recipe for disaster. She concentrated, and a wave of calm washed over everybody in the room(including Luna).
Jinx started as unbidden calm flew over her. It was a choking, cloying version of the emotion, thick and heavy, like a too-warm blanket. She jolted herself out of it with pain, then, furious, turned to see who had done it.

(Would that reach the room Amber is in?)
