School of the Mutants ~ RP ~ players needed

Llyan nodded numbly and took the journey to the park on foot. Soon she caught sight of the girl...it was kinda obvious. She was playing with...was that...light? She gasped quietly. On of the characters in her stories controlled light. She moved closer and tried to speak in a normal tone but her voice simply came out soft and shy like usual. "Hi...that's really pretty Ivory." Her hands wouldn't stop shaking.
"Ah!" Ivory jumped to her feet, almost losing her balanced, but managed to recover. She hid the orb behind her back, making it disappear once it was out of sight. "Oh. Hi." She grinned. "That was just a.... Ball." She said. She hated lying. It was one of the most things she hated doing. But she had to keep her gift a secret. She brushed her strawberry blond hair from her face. "How'd you know my name?" She asked. "Cause, I'm pretty sure i would've remembered you if we'd met before. I always remember names and faces. So, what's your name? You already know my name is Ivory, obviously. Hey! Do you like climbing trees? I love climbing trees!" She said excitedly. And it wasn't a trick to get her to forget about the ball of light. It was just who she was. She was extremely random, and very outgoing and hyper.

Ryan sighed. He had been thinking the same thing but he found promise here...friends he never would have out there. Plus he would always be running again. He was tired of running, he wanted to explor his abilities closer...find out what his real purpose is.
He cocked his head and have her a rare smile," Well...if you really think its the best thing for you than you should do it. But in staying for a little longer anyway. Angel...here I can learn how to control my mutation. Perhaps w I can find the purpose to my life. I've been looking eighteen years...I'm tired of running. But," he rose and looked out to his balcony, his eyes wandering over the clouds, "One day I plan to go back. When I am sure I can finally protect myself. Defeat my enimies."
angel nodded. "its okay. you don't have to come with. i think i should go tomorrow morning. when ambers asleep. i don't want to make her sad." angel said putting her cola on the table. "i just can't be here anymore. im in pain, so it puts my friends in pain. i think it would be better if i just left." angel said letting some silent tears slip down her cheeks.

Llyan swallowed hard at he barrage of questions, she seemed like a nice person but was still really afraid of talking to people. "Um...you don't need to hide your gift." She made her voice sound exactly like Ivory's. "I ave one too. my name is Llyan, and yes...I...I like climbing trees." Her voice went back to normal. " I was sent by professor X to offer you a place at a really nice school. It for kids like you and me who can do...um...extraordinary things." She looked down shyly again. She couldn't remember the last time she had ever said that much at one time. She took a shaky breath and looked up at her under her eyelashes.

"Wow. That was awesome, what you just did with your voice... So, there's others like me? And, I can have a home where I'm not a freak and stuff?" She asked, her brain working a mile a minute.

Llyan smiled, remembering her own reaction to finding out she wasn't alone. "Of course. And what I did was nothing...you should see what some of the other mutants can do. My gift is pretty small compared to theirs. The school is safe too...you can come and go when you want. Regular classes with people who can understand and...well...yeah, I'll say it. Even Professor X is really nice...in his own way. Still creepy since he's a telepath and psychic. But nice." words were coming more freely now. It wasn't as scary talking to Ivory now.
"He's the reason I know your name. He told me to come and get you so he can speak to you in person."

Ryan shook his head slowly frowning slightly. "Amber will be sad no matter weather you leave quietly or with her knowledge. I can't comfort her...I'm not good with that sorta thing. Never have, never will. She's your best friend...Amber would probably go with you if you asked. And the both of you would be safer as a team...but..." he hesitated. "If you go, you will leave behind protection and a safe home. And, please don't take me wrong, but I am not in pain because you are. Seriously...am I sorry for you? Concerned even? Sure. But I think you are strong enough to work this out on your own. You made it this far." He sighed. "If you really want my opinion...I think you should stay. But if this is to be goodby, than I wish you all the luck in the world."
He didn't really know what to do. The idea of comforting her was foreign to him. He didn't even think of it.

(xD lol)

Ivory jumped up and down. "This is going to be so exiting! It's probably going to be the most fun I've had in five years! Er.... At least I think it's been five years." She frowned, thinking. She shook the thoughts away and smiled again. "So..... How far away is it? The people seem nice. Your really nice too. Usually, I have to avoid people so my secret doesn't get out, but now I won't have to an I've already made a new friend!" She grinned, her light gift kicking in and making her practically glow. When she was super exited and happy, her gift did that, and she didn't really know of it.

angel felt better. "thanks ryan." she said with a small smile and then she stood up and walked to the door, "and you should keep practicing on that comforting, your getting better." she said with a real smile, then walked out of the room.
