Llyan shrugged. "As long as you want, I think. Talk to the professor...he will fill you in when we get back." Llyan paused and then tried a genuine smile. It felt good. "And I think you will love the rooms. They each have their own balcony. Come on! I think you will love the place." she moved towards the school, still shaky but jubilant. The professor had been right, as usual. She had overcome her fear of talking to a complete stranger and found a friend in this glowing girl...glowing metaphorically and literately. Her step was a bit lighter than usual as she headed back to her home.
Spencer looked up at her, disappearing for a moment then almost immediately reappearing as he calmed himself. "Uh, um The history book. I'm trying to catch up to everyone." he said softlylucy saw a guy reading a book and she couldn't read the title from where she was. she walked up to him and asked, "what book are you reading?"
"It sounds awesome!" Ivory said. "So, we get our own rooms, with balconies? Do they have a pool? Or a game room? Or actual school classrooms? I haven't gone to school in five years. Neither have I had my own room... Or a room at all. This is going to be so cool. So, what does the School look like?" Ivory asked, her skin still keeping a light glow to it, though it wasn't as bright.Llyan shrugged. "As long as you want, I think. Talk to the professor...he will fill you in when we get back." "oh, lucy said sitting down next to him. "what part are you at?" she asked, making conversation.Spencer looked up at her, disappearing for a moment then almost immediately reappearing as he calmed himself. "Uh, um The history book. I'm trying to catch up to everyone." he said softly

Llyan raised her eyebrows, "Oh, well...I...I don't do much exploring." she said hesitantly, thinking that usually she just tried to focus on not being noticed. "There is a woods and a lake I think. I have heard other kids talking about them. There are regular classes and then a seventh class that Professor X teaches himself about training us to control our mutations...he calls them gifts. I don't know if there is a pool or game room...probably though. But the kitchen and library I know well." her voice trailed off as she realized how little she knew of the place she called home...strange. She wondered why she had never really took the time to explore and join in other activities other than school but she already knew the answer. She was afraid of people. Especially kids her age. Adults were okay to a degree...they didn't notice her much anyway.
She looked at Ivory apologetically and shyly, "Sorry...I...I guess I never really took the time to join in anything the other kids did unless I had to. I don't really like crowds..."
"Um" He glanced to his book again "The civil war" He answered and smiled, looking back to Lucy"oh, lucy said sitting down next to him. "what part are you at?" she asked, making conversation.
"That's alright! I like to explore. And I really live surprised and stuff. It'll be fun to do some exploring and poking around." Ivory giggled, walking next to Llyan. "So, how many people are at the school?" Ivory asked.Llyan raised her eyebrows, "Oh, well...I...I don't do much exploring." she said hesitantly, thinking that usually she just tried to focus on not being noticed. Llyan thought for a moment but couldn't come up with an exact number, "A lot...not really sure with students and staff combined. And the school can hold even more than those who already live there...it's massive."
