angel sighed and turned around to see a girl standing there." let me guess your special to. well nobody wants me so im useless to you ." she rolled her eyes and touched all the nearby plants around her causing them to die almost instantly."ill just spread my misery. " she said as she sat down on the concrete ground.

Jamie curiously followed the two, even though she had turned down the wrong alley at first and gotten hopelessly lost. Then, somehow she felt an urge to go one way. She came to the opening of the alley, peeking in at the few people that had gathered in the alley. Is there something going on that I don't know about?

angel looked past the girl and sighed. she saw another girl about 16 or 17. " great. lets invite the whole neighborhood shall we." she flicked a leaf in irritation.

Amber felt tears come to her eyes and blinked them away as she stepped closer to Angel "I-I'm not sure." She said softly, then glanced behind her to the other girl

angel looked at the girl and felt guilty. " i'm sorry, i didn't mean to take my anger out on you.its just the boy is being a boy." she sighed. " what do you mean by you don't know?" she said getting up and waving over the other girl.

Jamie sighed in irritation and slipped back. She left them to do whatever they were doing on their own. She entered a library and went upstairs to the computers. She sat near a window and, pretending to be researching about Egyptian temples, was watching the group in the alley. She felt a pang of guilt as she glanced at the monitor. That had been the last project she had done in school before she ran away. She quickly looked away, staring through the window.

Amber looked down and bit her lip, making her look even younger. "I...t-the orphanage...the wind " She shook her head and the wind gusted around them, dropping away quickly. Amber looked around, frightened that there would be a repeat of what had happened before
