School of the Mutants ~ RP ~ players needed

Jamie could've laughed except for how scared she was. "Mutant? What are we in, a comic book?"

Amber bit her lip and took an almost involuntary step back, shaking her head "No, the professor call them gifts"

"Call what gifts?" Jamie was even more confused.

Ryan stood and took a step closer to the girl the folded ten dollar bill still in his hand and his half eaten bowl of ice cream in the other. His face was as stony as usual but it was softer and a small smile glowed in his eyes. "Hey...j gave this to you. You don't have to give it back. How did you fine me anyway?" His voice was soft, low, and kind.

Jamie shrugged in response to his questions. Truth be told, she didn't even know how she had found him.

Ryan didn't know if she was a gifted one, but he didn't like the idea of just kicking her out. U mean, she had found him just to give him back his money?
"Hey, there is lots of different stuff for breakfast...come on. You should at least eat something before you go..." he guestured around him. "I don't thing any one would mind. There has to be a reason you were able to find me."

Jamie shook her head, even though her stomach was growling. "No, I should leave. I don't want to get you guys in trouble." Her voice was softer than usual, without its confident tone. She started to go back toward the road leading away from the school.

Ryan hesitated....he didn't want to be kicked out of his new home. But he couldn't leave this girl to live a life he knew too well. He put down his ice cream and ran after her. "I don't even know your name. Mine is Ryan...and this place just became my home. I haven had a home in six years. This J's a good place. At least come see the professed with me! This isn't something I would just do either." He said looking sraite into her eyes, his face stony and serious.
"The man kinds creeps me out a bit...but he seems to be kind and wise. I think there IS a reason you were drawn to this place. Please. Come with me?" He begged . His green eyes did not lie.

((You probably can join))

Jamie opened her mouth to protest, but quickly shut it. "Fine. I'm Jamie. I've been on my own for four years, but I'm not sure I'm going to settle down into one place, where people will easily find me." She shook her head for more emphasis on the words. She actually kind of liked being on her own, where there was no one to tell her what to do, and she could do whatever she wanted.

Ryan nodded. "I feel the sane way...I'm not exactly the types to settle in one place for long. But the best part if this place it that ykj can come and go as you please. They teach you, house you, feed you...but your decisions control it." He smiled and took a few steps towards the stairs, looking back to her to see if she would follow. "That's why I decided to stay...they don't lord over you here as far as I can tell...and you just walked it so you know how easy it is to come and go." He smiled encouragingly, his usually stony countanence lifting for a moment as he rubbed his black hair out of his face.
