School of the Mutants ~ RP ~ players needed

Erin (Who had been taking a shower, i posted that right 0.o?) Quickly braided her hair, blowing a few that she missed out of her face as she finished it. She then went to work on her 'homework'. (Now she's caught up to speed.) Once she was done, her hair had dried except some of the inner part that could stay wet for hours. She went down to the study to find a book or something.

'Okay' Jean said back and went in. She looked around at the choices for a minute then chose snacks and a couple of drinks each before returning to the treehouse.
Arron drove the four-wheeler and trailer around to the front of the shed and loaded a few pieces of wood. 'That should be plenty,' he thought. He drove up to the top of the hill and met Jean at the tree house.

Tegan looked at her blankly. "Wha...?"

"You're gift! What? The words aren't small enough for you? That's what makes you one of us! That's why you're supposed to go to the School!" Ther blew a strand of hair out her face that had loosened from her ponytail during her tirade. She glared at Tegan.

"But I'm not one of you!" Tegan returned her glare, glancing past her out the window as police drove by. "Crap. Cops. We have to go." He jogged through a series of hallways, arriving at a back door. He wasn't supposed to be in here. It had been built, but not sold, so it technically belonged to the city. Somebody must have seen him. He sprinted out the door and into an alley, watching in horror as police covered the back door. Ther was still in there. He didn't care if she was a pain or not, he needed to get her out; he didn't know what they would do to her if they found her. He stepped out onto the sidewalk. "What's going on?" He called out to the man at the door. Surprisingly, he responded, telling him that they had received a call reporting trespassing.

"Yes you - Uh-oh." Ther whipped around to see the car. She saw the cops come at either side. They'd definitely see her if she went through the window. Anxiety flashed through her at the thought of being caught - she could just imagine herself in a Area 51 test tube labeled, Mutant, female, juvenile. The floor around her caught fire. Thankfully, she managed to put it out before it got too bad, but it would probably attract attention. She looked around. Maybe an octopus draw? But if they were really looking, they'd notice the human shaped lump against the wall. She bit her lip. Going on the offensive would definitely not be a good idea… So what would be?

“You shouldn’t do that,” Tegan said forcefully to the police. The man got a slightly blank expression on his face as soon as he had said it. “Tell the others that everything’s clear and that you guys should leave.” He said, feeling a slight difference in his tone of voice that made it sound… more smooth and clear, in a way that even made himself believe his own words. The guard picked up his radio and repeated in a slight monotone. He walked back to the car and, once the others had gotten in their respective vehicles, drove back to the station, forgetting to turn off the sirens. When they finally disappeared down the road, Tegan breathed a sigh of relief. Even though he had saved Ther from who knows what, he wasn’t sure he wanted her to be around. He hurried down the sidewalk and turned the corner.
