I suggest you slightly reword the topic of your presentation: "Why chickens are great pets."

Chickens are great pets for some people, but for most people, they are not the BEST pets. Most people want pets that live inside the house, and many people want to have just one of that kind of pet. Chickens are a very poor choice for living inside a human house with no other chickens.

(I agree that chickens are great pets, and I personally like chickens better than dogs or cats-- but they are definitely DIFFERENT. I see you've already been given plenty of reasons for why chickens are great, so I won't bother re-listing the same things others have said.)

Well I have to use a superlative. Some people are arguing the best football teams even though everyone has a different opinions.
The point in the speech is to convince everyone

I didn't realize the assignment called for it that way. Yes, you definitely have to do what the assignment says.

(And if everyone is talking about the "best" things, then everyone will realize that none of these are really "best" in all cases.)

I just want to say that I’m soooo glad you are doing this! Chickens are always viewed as food and dumb etc. time to shine the spotlight on chickenz!!!

They give young people an opportunity to experience the outdoors. Not all young people these days get that opportunity, or want that opportunity. I think chickens can be an easy, inspiring outlet for most kids these days. You may not get to excited about them at first, but any young person who spends just a few minutes with chickens in bound to fall in love. Once they bond with the birds they make great listeners, they are 100% garenteed to make you laugh, they love attention if you spend enough time with them, and honestly I like petting chickens more than furry animals. Feathers are so satisfying.

This is true. I used to never go into the garden unless it was warm, now I'm "forced" to get fresh air every day
