I used to do chorus. Then I realized I couldn't sing.

I love band, though. I play the flute. My teacher says I am very good at it, so she put me in a HUGE band with like 200 something people in it from around the state! We had to audition for it and I made it through! I was so proud of myself!

People said it sounded like a high-school band!

im playing flute, too i have to choose one for seventh might go with band. the ledford high school band is supposed to be the best in the state!

I play flute too! And I played bass guitar for jazz band. xD Oh did you know we call it Choir here?

I'm going into my second year of college and I love it. I'm actually going to become a music teacher myself. For those of you in chorus and band keep it up. By the way you never have to choose between chorus and band. Even if the school makes you choose there are always groups outside of schools for kids who don't have the traditional band/chorus classroom. The biggest thing tha school can teach us is to learn to love learning. It doesn't have to be in every subject, but if you excell in one subject or all of your subjects it will help you later in life. I know it doesn't always seem like it at first. I always hated math and thought that most math had no uses. Well I was wrong, afterall probability helps you determine the odds of having a roo in a flock of pullets!
