Science experiment. Need data.

Hi everyone,

Before I start, I need to say that this post contains pictures of a dead animal. If this will disturb you, please don’t read this post.

I need to give the context of this science experiment so that you don’t worry that I did something illegal.

We had a great horned owl in our yard. It was obviously dying. A few minutes after I got pictures of it, it died.

I took care of everything legally. I contacted the proper people, and they took care of it.

Anyway, here is the experiment.

I have a hypothesis that human beings can tell if something is dead just by looking at it.

The experiment is that I’m going to post two pictures of it. In one picture, the owl is still alive. In the other picture, the owl is already dead.

I am not going to say which picture is which. I want the people here to look at the pictures carefully, and try to figure out which picture is the one with the DEAD owl, just by looking at it.

If you guys could get back to me with your answers, it would supply me with data for this science experiment.

As soon as I have enough data, I will post the results as well as which picture is the correct picture.

That’s not skewing the data, all data is valuable. I prefer a picture one or picture two answer, though.
