As Conny said, links, proof? I'm very curious to know where you heard this from, as that would tell me quite a lot about this story's intent. As a side note, one also wouldn't be cloning rats to taste like chicken, they would be cloning genetically altered or captively selected rats that taste like chicken, or rats that naturally are similar to chicken in taste. Big difference.
I used to live in Japan, and I've never heard or seen leg of rat up for meat sale. That is reserved for cultures who don't have a problem with it and Mc Donald's.
