I forgot to mention that the scissor beak I saw had it’s beak completely open like an open pair of scissors. It was really bad!I was at a 4-H fair a Long time ago and we had hatched a scissor beak chick. We did not have the time or resources to save it. My 9-year-old self was heartbroken when I heard it did not survive.
If it is getting along with the other chicks and is eating and drinking it should be ok however, keep a close eye on it. I’m not sure how it would develop later on with a scissor beak and unfortunately it would probably not survive however I don’t have much experience. The only scissor beak I saw lasted a few days. Hope your chick lives! Hope this helped!
That’s what I’m worried about with this one. I’ve never dealt with it before, but it seems like it’s already pretty significant so I’m worried it will get much worse.I forgot to mention that the scissor beak I saw had it’s beak completely open like an open pair of scissors. It was really bad!
Thank you! I think she’s adorable too, but I’m worried how much longer she’ll be able to eat in her ownI have never had a chick like this, but I personally think it’s face is really cute!
Hope it survivesBest luck for you!
