Does anyone have any experience with a hen with a crossed beak? Our Baby Blue has a slight one. We hand feed her mostly with a wet mixture but she can eat on her own if the dish is quite full. Her top beak has a tendency to curve over the bottom (like an eagles) so I trim it as it needs to be done. Her other disability is that
she can't see well. I'm not sure if she's blind in one eye or just can't see well. She does lay eggs. She'll go in and out of the coop but if dusk comes before she's in, she waits by the ramp. We don't mind the extra care she requires but was wondering if anyone else has experienced it.
