This little one hatched yesterday. Is it reasonable to assume it’s not going to thrive with that degree of misalignment? I had to do an assisted hatch with it yesterday. It didn’t pip and the cord was tightly wrapped around its legs and neck. I didn’t know that could even happen during a hatch. IMG_9109.jpeg IMG_9110.jpeg

Unfortunately it will most likely worsen as it gets older, since it's already noticeably out of alignment.

Thank you. We made the decision to cull it today. The beak is part of a bigger facial deformity. It is missing an eye as well. I should not have helped this one hatch.

Sorry to hear that. I was wondering if it was missing an eye (which could be indicative of skull deformity as well) but it was hard to tell.
