Yahoo! The coop project was finished on Friday, April 24th. We raced the clock to get the run finished, which my daughter did, and to get the old run cleaned and ready for the new chickies. We finished near dark, it sure was exciting!
A picture of the 2 pop doors. One for the hens and one for the roosters. They are seperated now. I ran a cable through the coop to the front wall to open it from the outside for the hens.
We left the new chickies in the coop for several days and left them out when they got really rowdy in there! Here they were only out for minutes already getting their first dust baths!
Our hens seem to be loving there new home and reclaimed nesting boxes!
I am so glad to be able to enjoy the chickens and there antics now! Yahoooooo!
