Scorpion slayers

This post is geared for the desert dwellers. Last summer I could go out in my yard with a flashlight and kill 10-20 scorpions a night. Since I brought my feathered friends into my fortress of insanity, I have only found four in three months. Natural pest control, good eggs, and good pets....,,, can't beat it.

Hi Natimus---

How cool is that? When I lived in Desert Hot Springs CA, one of the old time residents said he and friends used to go down to where the San Andreas fault goes through at night and somehow the scorpions glowed in the dark...I think they may have had "black light".

I catch them here in 'glue traps'....and when I open the big barn garage doors sometimes little 1" to 1 1/2 inchers fall to the ground from the bottom of the doors. yeech.

I think now I will sick my tiny dinosauers (aka chickens) on the scorpions... Thanks for the post, I got a kick out of it.
