I breed the Scots dumpy chickens here in the US, in Texas. I am successfully hatching chicks monthly and will be selling soon. Chicks will not be shipped any younger than 4 weeks old for a higher survival. I am not a large hatchery, but will continue to breed my Scots as I have seen a large demand for them in the US.

I just ordered a few from Sand Hill but I'd love to be on your mailing list. Do you have a website?

Scots dumpy's! I currently have 8 week olds for sale. I have some two week olds also for sale for pick up or that will be ready to ship in a couple more weeks. [email protected]

Does anyone have photos of the breed here in the US? I have seen many people say they have them but have seen no pictures.

I have more photos of day olds if needed. They photos in my phone are mostly under heat lamp and have a red tint to them. I don't ship under 4 weeks, during winter months...don't have enough bulk for them to stay warm.

It is hard to be sure based on some of your pics but do any of your birds carry the creeper gene with the stubby legs?

Yes they do. The rooster is short legged and my hens are about a 50/50 split
