What would be the possibility of picking up hatching eggs in the spring? I would potentially drive down. Even for eggs and a roo.

Awesomesauce! I'm so excited! I have some work to do separating pens this winter to focus on breeding programs of Dorkings, (hopefully) Scots Dumpies, and my sons' Jersey Giants to keep them from the general barnyard flock.

It's funny, because I don't know how many we have! We signed a lease for a ten acre farm, and it comes with the birds. We will find out in November when we move. They said somewhere around 60-80, and five different breeds. I'm so excited--it's been five years or so since I had to give up my last set of birds and it's been killing me.

Going to have counting, identification, and a watering system to tackle when we get there...they've been breaking ice and carrying water buckets for that big flock, even though they have a watering tank in the barn. Just need some finagling so things don't freeze and we'll get something set up I'm sure.

So...there is no way our car will make it all the way down to you right now. And the car replacement fund went to the 'get weird thing surgically removed from the dog's stomach' fund instead. Any way you would consider mailing hatching eggs, @maralpz2006?
