I have a section of my yard that i keep fenced off for the ducks so they have a grassy area to go in during the day sonce they ripped up anything green and growing in their pen. In spring i planted scotts grass seed (high traffic to be exact - it has that blue coating on it). I have the area blocked off so the duckies cant get in there yet. My plan was to allow them in that area again soon. However my dad said that cuz its got fertilizer in it the soal might be contaminated and such and if not all the seeds take root and get burried the ducks could get at it.
Most of the seed has changed to grass now but now im wondering if i should dig it all up and plant more organic seed or if they should be okay?

Does anyone have experience or suggestion with this?

If it's grass now, I wouldn't worry. Frankly, considering the amount of duck and geese that live in manicured parks, we would have figured out by now if it kills them
Ha! Thats a good point. I just get so paranoid with my babies.
