I trimmed primaries on one wing, sat him on top of his coop for a sec, and the booger flew off 40 feet! Up and over his hot wire, over the girl's hot wire, and landed outside their closed run. He puffed up, did the rooster strut and set the girls all a twitter.
A bunch of trips around the lady's area trying to catch him, he walked himself home and into his own run. Goober.
I took him out, petted him, fed him a mealworm, and trimmed all his flight feathers. As long as i had hold of him i looked him over well. Clear eyes, clear nose, no odd breathing, no mites, no lice, good legs, feathers.
Quarantine continues but I'll start taking him out for supervised, controlled walks in the late afternoons, after the ladies go for their walks.
