Two of my three scovies have decided to lay and one has gone full on broody. I tucked the saved eggs (10) under her but I'm not seeing any more laying from the other one and I saw a chicken literally standing on the broody scovy so I'm wondering if the other birds are just loading her up now. It looks like she has some eggs pushing out and partially uncovered from her breast. I've given her come extra bedding and also tossed in some saved down I had. Do I brave the bites (she's fiesty) and pull some? How do I keep the other birds from trying to tuck her eggs under her in the coop - is it safe to wire her off as long as she has food and water? Is there a way I can encourage the other duck to lay and then eventually go broody?
