My chickens just love omelets. They are so spoiled. I will take eggs that are soft or just look a little funny and make them cheese omelets.

Sometimes with toast and bacon...

I don't feed them chicken. Just not comfortable with that. Someday maybe but right now we are new to raising chickens and just not ready to think about that yet.

I did accidently give them ramen noodles that were chicken flavored though... they liked it. I felt bad about it when I had realized what happened.

Whatever a chicken is willing to eat, can be fed to them. If the can't eat something, they won't. If hawks can eat chicken meat, why can't chickens eat it?

Just think of it as all the nutrients a baby chick would need fed to a grown-up chicken.

Kind of like us drinking milk (albeit not human milk). Seriously--think about it--same thing!

PS: we blew out our first egg, too...there may be a better way to do it but if there's not, you're in for some sore cheeks!

if you have a syringe, you can use that. I used centrifugal force buy poking a hole in each end, scrambling the membranes as much as possible with the skewer, and then slinging my arm around as hard as I could. (OUTSIDE) however, If you hold it too tight it may crush in your hand as the insides fling out.
A nice sized syringe should be the best ticket. maybe you could suck it out that way too.

I do not know...but I have a first egg on my window sill!
