Script needed now for SMZ/TMP????

I just went to place an order for aqua SMZ/TMP from valley vet.com, which I’ve done in the past, but now they’re saying I need a prescription from my vet??? Since when?? Does anyone know where I can get it without having to do this baloney?? Ugh

Most all antibiotics require a prescription. Some can be obtained for chickens or pigeons without one. You can get the bird sulfa powder for the water online or this one in tablets:

Yes, I just saw that. On other sites, it says it is discontinued. There has been a crackdown on many antibiotics. Here is a powder that is close to the same as SMZ TMP for pigeons:
