Looks like a bit of a dead thread that needs some life... My scroll saw is one thing that keeps me sane being a stay at home dad. Love doing fine detail fret work. I also make tatting shuttles for my wife.
I was just googling chicken tatting patterns (I've been tatting for about 10 years now), when your rooster fretwork came up in the search results, and then it brought me to this site, which I've been a member for a little while now, having got some baby chicks in the spring! Awesome fretwork and tatting shuttles.
