What's up with this guy? I just picked up 2 hens and a roo as a rehoming package deal. The lady said her friend moved and couldn't take her chickens.
She says the roo is molting. I figure it's something more. His wings have also been clipped hard. One of the hens has a similar-looking patch (small) on the back of her head.
Sorry the photos are rough. He's all over the place.

Is this written the way you meant it? I dont quite understand it.
The gals would hurt him if there were another roo?
Or You'd suspect a roo if there were another present?

On his breast? Does it look like on humans? I think he actually has some feathers on his breast...

Maybe try smoothing his feathers out and looking for any rashes

Rooster will fight if more than one I tend to think she had them in very close quarters

Is it ok to actually take a scrub brush to their legs and feet? Like a toothbrush or something?
