Yeah I've seen those. Do they make them for chicks? I've seen them on adults..

I had some on a few chickens. they ended up being waayy too tight and we had to cut them off. it was really hard to cut them off, and to add to our hardship, the hens were kicking and screaming. don't use leg bands.

I don't think it's that horrible if they used plain food coloring. I once dyed my white silkie hen green. it didn't work the greatest, but I also didn't do a good bath (i didn't do a dunk, I did a pour-over), so that might have been why it didn't color too well.

I was trying to find the thread but couldn't. I don't know why they would dye their chick and lie about it, there is absolutely no reason!

I understand. some people don't like unnatural looking birds flying around their yard. I tend to find it wonderful!

I saw that thread! They said they didn't know how it happened, so they purposefully dyed it to trick everybody?

They do it to make them more attractive for children it's not very good and they are technically treating chicks as a toy for kids
