Scuba went broody...

If she is doing the laying she must not be finished building her clutch. Sounds like Muscovy to me they love big clutches. Or do you think her sis is laying in her nest. All you can do at this point is wait, take the older eggs up but if she is still laying then she isn't ready to go full broody. This means if she keeps building her clutch size she probably won't be able to cover them all . My Muscovy build their nest and then go broody and that means they stay on the nest 24/7 except for potty and eating and bathing and the occasional chasing around a chicken or duck that gets to close to her. I have always been selective of how many eggs I let them have and it's never been more than 8 that way they can better care for their ducklings and we don't have losses. This works for me anyway.

Yes, but it still may take a few days for her to get over the hormones that cause them to go broody. Maybe even longer but just keep taking the eggs up. I have 2 Muscovy brooding on nothing right now, I just let them get over it on their own.

She went off at 9 today, i collected all of them and put them in the incubator i had set up yesterday. Total I put in 20 eggs, Scuba really didn’t get all that upset, honestly she almost seemed relieved. Time will tell tomorrow. Ill candle them in a week unless I should do it sooner? Cannot find my thermometer so I bought this weather station today does humidity, temp and has high low alerts. Outdoor is the incubator and I just put them in at 8 so it is still heating back up. It flatlined at 101.7, Holderread says 101.5 for the first week in a still air.
