DANG IT ! She has mites. I just sprayed her down and now tomorrow is planned.........

All birds will be dipped AGAIN! What the heck, I just did this not long ago! OMG, this is a freaking 2 day job here.

Off to call my helpers for the next 2 days.............

How the heck does this happen?????????

I just finished locking up. I checked a couple birds in each pen. I found 2 obvious cases of mites. TWO! How is it that this little New Hampshire pullet is so infested??????? I mean, GEEEEEZZZZZZZZZ, it was not long ago I just did my usual treatments (with follow up in day 10).

This time I am going to do dip with follow up in 7 days of dip AND Ivermectin. Dang, this irritates me. I hate dealing with this.

Certain birds are just prone to it. Mr Mottled always had mite problems. It probably contributed to his death. His girlfriends in that pen were always fine and then he would be crawling with them. I did flea/tick shampoo baths, ivomec pour on and tons of sevin under the shavings. Sigh.

I'm Baaaccckkk!!! Just got back home from good ole Lebanon TN. Been there since Sunday night. Im so glad to be back home. Cant believe how much the chicks have grown. Hope all is well!!!
