Poor Kathy.
Nugget has been on the nest since 11 a.m. today so I think she's finally settled down to business after clucking for a week or two. The problem is that she is in Rex's coop, not the bantam coop! She refused to lay in the bantam coop where she's been living for weeks and weeks so every day she had to lay, she'd pace the fence until I came to get her; she'd go right out the gate, up the ramp, I open the door to Rex's coop, let her in and she'd lay her egg in there where she used to live. Silly hen, has me well-trained, doesn't she? But, I'll do anything my Nuggs wants since she's the best broody mama on the planet.
