Ok, it has taken me DAYS to catch up - LH, I wish I could have seen you get your surprise at Cyn's!!! And I am SO sorry about Isis, that is family to us, too! I hate when things like that happen -

Shug is beautiful, but that NH hen should come live with ME. This guy WANTS her!

I had an envelope waiting for me when I got back from Cyn's that had pics of Jo's babies in it and pics of my Diva Do as a yearling when she was "Pink" absolutely stunning. Thank you so much if they are from you Beth. I will have to scan them and share them.

Smoky had her crop surgery tonight. She did well, even watched some of it, silly hen. She is in the brooder, all stitched up and I hope, I hope, I hope she is alive tomorrow. She really needed the surgery-the larger-than-a-softball wad of gunk was just starting to ferment in there. Here she is standing, post-surgery:

Well to catch up on me. I lost one of the twin Salmon Faverolle boys sunday. I had discussed that I thought that he had a heart condition with LH a few days ago and then I found him dead sunday morning. Poor guy. The Guineas hate me lol they throw a fit when I try to cuddle or feed them. My BW Ameraucana chicks are growing like weeds and are the friendliest babies i've ever had. WOrk is crazy as usual. AND I have a lunch date on friday. I'm really excited its the first interest i've had or been shown since february. So hopefully all will go well. I won't however hold my breath.
