Yep.....she is a goofy bird. Has a bad eye.....another bycer gave her to me when she was downsizing, since I love the rejects. She is hilarious. Always in everyone's business. She has both eyes but the eyehole is in the wrong spot? Hard to describe. Its like the hole is too far forward or too small....very strange. She is a very happy bird. I trip over her daily....

AWWWW!

They have definitely been on my "want list" for some day - so pretty - sorry didnt mean to take away from your NH's! Just saw her - very cute!

I've always wanted some too.....they had them in the tsc bins this year so I bought 6.....but later sold them as teenagers when downsizing......the new owner's dog killed them within a week

So I just have this one girl now, that I got a month or so after that. She is part of the yard flock and is happy as can be. Very pretty girl....hatched in Feb I hear. Maybe someday she will give me an egg! Lol

Knox, that second filly, Miss America, sold for $30,000.00. No joke. I had leased this mare out to another friend, everyone wanted her as a broodmare, and I had enough on my plate. Anyway, my friend was delighted with the sale. There are times I could kick myself, but wasn't in the position to pay the stud fee, and thought it would be a shame to waste Jo if someone could get some good babies.

Nella, the "rejects" are sometimes the best ones!

Wow that is alot! Horse business is not for us poor folk!
Course back in the day when showing dogs - i had a friend that sold a male to a buyer from Japan for 100K!

Yes I agree Knox Miss America is outstanding. That is the same stud I am looking at getting sperm from to breed Jo next year. The Diva Do needs a baby of her own and she has had two from him, both gorgeous. Shame they gelded the colt. The stud fee is pricey but Jo is worth it, I just have to save my pennies LOTS of them, I think his studd fee is around $2500.00 somewhere between 1500.00 and 2500.00.

I am excited for her actually, she has her own digs now forever and I can fix the stall right across the aisle for the baby so mama is close by to show her the ropes and if it is a little girl, mama can put her into immediate Diva training so they can both drive me nuts hehehehehehe If it is a boy she can teach him to walk the walk and talk the talk and act like an Arabian stud should. Jo knows her mama stuff!

If Odyssey's fee is down that far, grab it and run. It used to be $4,000.00!!!!!

Yes, a little Divette will be diverting for you LH. You will be nuts in a week.

Knox, the horse world is nuts and totally living in LaLa land with stud fees. Quality is never guaranteed and I have seen some horses from those expensive breedings that - well- they just shouldn't have happened, if you know what I mean.

Yes Beth i know what you mean - dog stud fees are really not that far off actually - and especially when you get into the frozen " stuff" hopefully that was tactful enough to make it on a family site! HA!
