The Dr. called just now. I have some possible micro damage but all the major arteries are open and working.

Med. and walking is the routine from now on. I can garden as I feel that I can too.

YEH!!!!!!!!!! Now lets see. Another coop would be nice, fence in the bigger part of the yard. Oh! well, If I just could win the lottery.

How is Suede tonight.?
I have been blessed so far With a healthy flock. I do have one problem. One of the orps. is laying an egg streaked with poo every time she lays.

I do not know why. She is a fairly new layer about this month. All are really pretty. I was going to post picks but my photo site is not allowing me to put anymore on it. I have to find another way. Do you have any ideas to help me post. Gloria Jean

Suede still has minor bouts of heavy breathing, but his crow is still clear. He is sitting down at least-the first few days, he couldn't breathe if he sat down. I gave him some of my meatloaf and baked beans for supper so he's getting spoiled, but he's bored. He hears stuff over the baby monitors and I know he misses his girls.

The eggs are streaked with poo. The nest is clean. I have got to go out tomorrow and figure out which orp it is. Its an orp egg. I know the black from you is laying and maybe one of the lavenders too from Beth. Their heads are red and the black does her squat for me everytime I go by. Lizbeth the Blue from you is quite the distant fluffy butt. I keep hoping she will warm up some but she is a diva type orp. Fluffy big butted and all. Real pretty though. Since they are young it could be anything I guess but I have never run into this with any of my hens before. Loving all my hens and the two roos. I wish I could post pic. but for some reason I can't seem to get it right lately. When I have more time and less Dr. visits I will check more. Love heaps Gloria Jean

Back when my Sunny was laying, every egg came with its very own gob of poop attached. "Loose cloaca", I guess. It was sort of her signature, LOL!
