Morning all.....hope everyone had a GREAT weekend

Looks like my "broody hatch" is over and I have 5 chickies. 3 pure Delawares and 2 blue rock x delawares. Here are a few pix of Sugar with the babies this morning

I'm off to the body shop this morning....a deer decided to side swipe Landon and Jennifer the other night on their way home. The whole passenger side of Jenns Honda Odyssey is really messed up. Thank goodness for insurance....I'm guessin the estimate on this one will be between $3-4K

Scott, thank goodness Landon and Jennifer are alright. That is a scarey situation and so difficult to avoid.


Well, wish me luck all. I meet with the homeowner at 11:00 so

DH is not even going because his temper is still at a threatening explosion level and of all things...I woke up with a sore throat and cold like symptoms this morning. Say hello to stressville. *sigh* I pray this works out and she has had the weekend communications and thinking time to be reasonable.

Scott, I, too, am very glad Jennifer and Landon are alright- that must have been scary! Not Landon's first deer or anything, is it? The chickie pics are adorable. It's too bad they can't stay little and cute for longer.

As to numbers. Ah, my DH keeps asking "how many chickens do you have know?" Every two or three days. Although he misses Luke and is looking forward to Alexander's arrival. He said he didn't realize what a good roo Luke was till he was gone. I think that means he is progressing- he isn't referring to Alexander as the new "Sunday Dinner".

Kathy, I went and bought 'Xander his very own new waterer, and we are set up and ready! The girls are primping!

Well we are closer but not resolved yet. This is exactly why I got out of law...The stare downs where someone has to flinch and I don't flinch. *sigh* So, we made another offer so let's see what happens. I do know this...something has to give soon because I am making myself sick over the stress of it all....totally not worth it. It is like I woke up this morning with a horrible cold or something.

Scott, Good news that Jennifer and Landon are ok. Man, those darn deer can sure cause alot of damage! Love the broody pictures. I just love watching mamas with babies! cluck, cluck, cluck all day long.

Cetawin, you know I'm keeping you, DH and Cheyenne in my prayers that this house situation gets straightened out just as soon as possible. What exactly is the hair up the sellers behind anyway? You probably already told us....something to do with the interest rate on the contract?

But you know my brain....in one moment, evaporated the next.

Does the term Sieve Head mean anything to y'all? Yeah, that's me all over the place!

Anyhow, I hope you can get things resolved to your satisfaction very soon. Stress is a horrible thing. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy....well...maybe my worst enemy...but certainly not you dear LadyHawk!

Scott, glad to hear that the kids were not harmed in that run in with the deer. Buck or doe? Does anyone know? Not that it matters...a dent, is a dent, is a dent, and they all cost plenty to repair. Hopefully they have really good insurance. Darn silly deer! Why do they do that? I've seen them let one car go by them without any problems, only to step right in front of the next oncoming car. Not exactly the brightest bulb in the package, are they?

Oh, and Sugar and the babies are positively darling in those pics! Love seeing a mama doing her job!

And what a cute little clutch of puff balls!

Beth, don't question the change of heart in DH, just accept it and go with the flow. So long as his attitude has had a change for the better, it's all good!

I can hardly wait to see how Xander settles in to his new digs and harem of ladies. Tell them to remember to wash behind their ears in all that primping and preening!

Maybe now would be a good time to dust them. Not that they probably need it from a parasite respect, but let's face it, that stuff can turn a black bird white!!

OK, time to get something done today, even if it's the wrong thing. Family left at the ungodly hour of 1:00 this morning and things are slowly getting back to normal. I miss them already!

In a nutshell - first she wanted 8% on a 30 year fixed, then it was 7% 30 year fixed, today it is 7% 2 years and a balloon. And there is around $10k in repairs that need to be done. We are not arguing sale price with her (which is $11K over the appraisal we got). We have a guaranteed income, we are already here. She is getting some crappy advise from someone for sure. I mean going APR right now is 4.5%.

So, Friday morning, we meet with a mortgage broker...



Janelle, Spike is great. Rose (the yellow banded girl) is laying and Spike is "The Little Man". I adore him and his girls.

Yay, glad to hear the porcleain are doing well. Spike aka blue beard while he was here was definitely one of the best of the bunch.

KATHY, what is going on with the coronation issue? It is a new business day, therefore I must have an update, LOL.
