It has hit the high for the day..... 27° and going down now.

I checked on broody mama and her chicks when I took them fresh water. They were outside running around. They all got a drink and when I went to get the camera they went inside.

It will hit 10* tonight. Windchill will bring that down to 0-2*.

Aw Kathy, your broody is so cute! I think it's amazing how long the chicks will run around in the cold before getting back under mom. Sturdy little buggers!

What mild weather? You must be talking about SOUTH Ga, not up here in the mountains at 2000 ft elevation.

Hey Rancher.....who goes it with those "Georgia" eggs anyway?? I put 15 in the hatcher yesterday. 1 hatched today (a day earlier) and I have pips in about 1/2 of them

My BRs from Cyn are due next Monday and I have 8 that are looking REALLY good! After those hatch I think I'm done for the year. Will have hatched approx 100 CRs and a few BRs.....that should keep me busy

BTW - y'all, I'm getting no notifications to updates to subscribed posts? Any ideas?
