ROFL @ Kathy's seatbelt crack! Too funny! Well, now the final total is 55. Carly did contribute today by the noon deadline, then later, Dottie and Maretta both laid-those are probably not fertile, but there is an outside chance. The reason for the hatch are the BRs and D'Anvers, to add pullets from each breed, but naturally, I must have one each of Shadow's and Nugget's daughters, if I get those! I'll keep aside a few of LH's choice, a couple of Delaware pullets for Nick if he has his coop ready and can come get them, but the rest will be sold. Have to make a few $$ where I can these days.

Whitney Houston dead at 48. How sad is that.

It's a tragedy to be sure. My own biological sister died at 49. Let's just hope Whitney's daughter doesn't follow in her path and learns from her mother's mistakes. Wonder if her heart just gave out from all the abuse she heaped on it for so many years. It happens, like with Karen Carpenter's anorexia-she was in recovery, but her heart was too damaged.

I was in Germany when I heard about Karen Carpenter. I always liked her music too.

I have 10 Delaware and 23 Icelandic eggs in lockdown now.

Eggs with seatbelts are nothing new now Kathy...some of my bantam eggs get seatbelts in the turner too. Even the big eggs of Smoky, Cyn's blue orp girl that passed away, got seatbelts. They were very pointy and so big they would 'clunk' when then turner reached near maximum turns. I actually had one crack once so hers all got little shelf liner seat belts. They must ride safe in that wild turner ride. hehehehehehe


Yay final for this semester done and turned in...just in time as I begin the final 2 psychology classes tomorrow and one week from tomorrow. Degree finishes April 22nd

I had them start a week apart because they were on the same schedule. I prefer having them on offset schedules. As the classes are online Could you imagine turning in the wrong assignment to the wrong class?

I guess 33 on Cyn's hatch. I turn 33 this year, lol.

I have 6 Maran eggs in the hatcher today. Not sure if anyone is inside. The shells are so dark.
