Laura............. pull that red plug out of there. They need the oxygen.

Yeah and just watch the temps a little closer too as they hatch out and you remove biddies the temps sometimes will drop too as your removing mass that hold heat in the there, + making more open space. You'll get the hang of it, also don't adjust for temp drops right after you open it, give about 30 to 45 minutes for the temp to stabilize again then see where its at. Hope I'm helping more then confusing or making anxiety! (gulp)

Not at all! We have wood heat so it stays pretty warm in the house [think, T-shirts] but I do worry about the humidity.

I don't even have a brooder box ready yet. I had planned on doing that today. Heading out to get the equipment now.

Oh Laura! They're positively darling!!! Just look at 'em all in there! Cute and fluffy and just waiting to be cuddled!!!

And by the looks and the sounds of it, you're doing great girl! Keep those pictures coming!

LH, you really should write that book! I can see it now....."Diva Do and Junebug: The Adventures of Two Ladies With Attitude!" or "How to Win Friends and Influence Humans"!
