Not sure if she has but I have. I actually gave up on the ridiculous pattern that was posted here ions ago....Cyn and I tried it when I was there and I tried re-working it here and said fooey and bought some patterns....

But it is taking time...sewing, chickens, horse, house, homeschooling and working in the blacksmith shop is making time slow down. I need more hours in each day dang it.

On a bad note, Maxwell was dispatched this evening. He has been a flightly spazz for weeks but today he began attacking the silkies and then flew at me and rolled to his back striking at me with his feet and running out of the coop. He ran right into Lancelot and Hector and I saved him from those two and grabbed him by his neck tossing him into a crate. I should have killed him right then but Cheyenne was standing right there so I had husband dispatch him. Amazing how peaceful and quiet the coop was this evening. Normally everyone is in an uproar from Max's antics. Sad, but that boy was gorgeous and not right right in the head.

I understand everything being in an uproar. Looks like my days with Cracker Barrel are numbered. I was under the impression that once you make a deal you should honor it but they don't feel the same so after 8 yrs i'm now job hunting I cant work for these people anymore. Mom is stressing over this and im trying to keep her calm I told her this morning that she better not get sick over all this sh##. I'm under a fake calm with bouts of rage. This is just the short of it waayy too much to type. My very first ex came back into the scene just long enough to stir me up and then off he went. People aka men tend to drop out of my life very quickly. I feel like Dorothy when she said "people come and go so quickly here" lol. I dont know what life has in store for me but I do wish it would settle down soon.


Now chicken news. All of the Barred Holland Roos and cockerels are gone to grace someones stew pot, woot!!!! I'm so glad. 9 total. The polish chick is growing, and everyone else is doing fine.

No, but I did finish the two baby quilts. Besides, I don't have a pattern for the door stops. I crawled into bed at 2:58 this morning

I don't have any aprons/saddles made and chickenstock is tomorrow.

OMG that horrid thing was stalking my Suede...did you GIG him Cyn? Fry up some legs in butter and garlic? I certainly hope so. How dare that thing think it could stalk muah Suede. Die Frog Die!

I'm going to say something out of the blue that has nothing to do with SDWD just to say it to someone. I am sick of having my integrity called into question by people whose own needs some polishing. Just a mini-rant for the day.

It's hot, my back was hurt somehow, Sunny is dying, Amanda has a twisted leg, Gypsy isn't acting well, I need to have someone buy my D'Anver pair to get Aubrey out of that coop so I can put some older hens in there and not have them hassled, etc, etc, etc. There's always an etcetera, isn't there? Sigh.

I am home from Chickenstock. I did have a great time and it was great to be able to visit with Wynette, chickmate and Granny [Opa's mom] among others. I am tired and looking forward to resting for a couple of days.
