Looks like a really nice horse for Joleta's new buddy! Hope you can get it. Sorry I'm not in here much--been working on Ellie's quilt and have a kit quilt lined up after that and a Tennessee Waltz quilt after that.

OMG .... it is never going to end....

NOW, my washing machine is leaking! We bought new appliances when we moved here, so they are not old. What the heck is up with all this?

What the heck gives woman!?! Did you make the appliance gods angry or something? You didn't kick the washing machine one day and call it a bad name did you? Sheesh! You're having one of the worst bad appliance Karma episodes I think I've ever seen outside of Denny and I, just as we were closing on selling the house in Olympia. And of course, it all had to be taken care of before we could close on it!

I sure hope you can appease the appliance gods and SOON!!! You don't need any more things breaking down on ya! You know I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for a change for the better in your fortunes very soon.

I have grown to love your increased presence here!

I don't want you to have to go back to work just cuz your house is going belly up!

I am sitting here with ice cycles hanging off my nose. I am freezing cold ..... the part has not come in for the furnace. We have electric heaters in the house, but I am in the basement studio. I think I will go outside. I have heat lamps for the grow-outs.

High today 50s, to get down to 27 tonight. BRRRRRR. ....... Why is it that 50 feels so cold in the fall, yet come spring it feels nice and warm?

Kathy breathe it is gonna be okay. I shall sit here and be upset with you....a snowstorm has my transporter off schedule and I am freaking out....he is calling Wisconsin now to set it up with her but I am flipping out down here.

I need sugar! This is too stressful, Joleta's trip hanging in the balance, Kathy's whole house breaking down and my crazy broody QUIT!

Yup, left her eggs and went to roost in the Firetower. Going into Day 17! Why now????

I need Lemon Cream Cheese Bars or Lemon Lovers Pound Cake or cheesecake, something! ARGH!

Bator is warming up, eggs are in the brooder on a warm towel and rice bag beside them. All appear to be still viable.

Yeah, I am thinking today is not the day to buy a lottery ticket. It is one thing after another.

Just before roost time I found my one and only Barred Rock rooster (that I hatched from Jamie) in the RIR pen. (Dear BF of DD left the gate open) He had one of the RIR roosters down in the corner, trying to kill him.

I grabbed his butt out of there and threw him in a pen all by himself. Really, he is a nice boy, usually. I don't really know what to do with him. I have just him and one girl from that strain. Since I have the other ones, I don't really need this pair. Though, they are very nice.
