I've been getting 6-12....usually 1 or 2 bantam cochin eggs, 2-3 olive eggs, 1 white egg and the rest varying shades of brown or cream. Lots of molters at my house....plus all the broodies. My wheaten marans pullets are looking a lot closer to POL. One's comb has shot out lately to be pretty big and red......hoping she may start to lay even though it is winter, but expecting it to take until spring. SIGH. Her sister is still a bit behind.
My recently molting white leghorn hen looks fantastic. So white and pristine.....some of my other girls are starting to get their saddle area worn down. Next weekend will be rooster wrangling day. I wonder if pulling the 4 mean boys out of their rooster pen for a day, and then putting everyone in there together at the very same time might be helpful. Hmmmmmm.......
