I have got to get a pic of the Stallion and I keep forgetting...he just stares across the paddocks at Jo, all stary eyed and she completely disses him, totalling ignoring him. LOL

Hi all!! Been couple days since i've posted. Had some major family drama sunday night and it's caused a black cloud over the holidays. Doesn't seem like it will resolve quickly which makes it that much worse. Anyway I put 11 Barred Rocks and 6 Buff ORp. and 1 EE in lockdown tonight. The turkey eggs will be do on Christmas Eve. There are 12 Partridge Cochin eggs coming this week. So I should have a wide selection to bring to LH's get together in the spring. Of course my momma gets the BR chicks, lol.

LH i'm so excited about Jo's safe arrival! Sorry to hear about Cheyenne's loss. I'm sure Jo's arrival has helped alot! Horses have that spirituality that can just absorb you.

Thank you Brandon...Jo certainly has a strong spirit and she is getting more and more used to the fact that she is staying with me and that she is loved...I tell her so everytime I arrive and everytime I leave. She really is made of nothing but awesome!

I will say a prayer that the family drama heals itself and moves out of the family quickly. I am here anytime you need a shoulder or an ear.

Of course your mama gets the BRs ... mama gets whatever she wants.

Well, we got somewhere in the neighborhood of 9 inches of new snow total today. I still haven't heard the official tally from the airport yet, but at last count, around 5:30 pm, we were only needing another inch and a half to blow the old record away for snowiest November on record. I'm pretty sure we've gotten that already and we still have more than three hours to go officially!

DH got the snow blower running much better tonight by tightening up the drive belts on it. We forgot that we had put new belts on it at the end of last season.

Amazing what a little tightening can do! That sucker throws snow half a mile now, I swear!!

God help anyone standing down range of the chute when he goes by! Annie wasn't paying attention and got caught in the blast from 20 feet away. Knocked her right on her butt!

That got her attention!!

Aaaah! Adventures in winter weather! Gotta love it. Just not the screaming in my back tonight though. So, off to bed I go, with the hope and prayer for you all that you have a good night sleep and pleasant dreams. Good Night y'all!

Thank you Amy but no she was not always mine...she was Beth's baby girl...but Jo and I found each other when we needed each other....she needed a good new home and I needed a horse to love and care for. All the rest of it is bonus...I like hot bloods...she is I have always wanted an arabian and she is I have wanted another mare since my girl passed on many years ago and Jo found me, YAY
