Awww Knox, your girls just wanted you to think about them while you're at work, slaving away to provide for them.
It's their way of letting you know they love you!
Things are warming up here in the great frozen North. Much to my dismay! I despise mud!
Forecast looks crappy all the way through the weekend and straight into next week. We don't get back to the freezing mark for daytime highs at all for the foreseeable future. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate,
hate,
HATE RAIN!!??
Even our overnight lows are going to be above the freezing mark for the most part. Mud City, here we come!
And believe me, the chickens ain't to happy about the news. They're not what you could call "fond" of mud either! Nor rain!
Depending on just how much rain we get, we'll probably loose all of our lovely white snow by the end of the weekend.
And then everything will be nothing but muddy brown and boring! YUCK! I want my snow back, and I want it back
RIGHT NOW!!!! How in the heck is anyone supposed to get in the holiday spirit of things when they're surrounded by
MUD !?!?!
On a lighter note, everyone got a nice great big pumpkin for breakfast this morning!
Kathy, you should've seen the girls pounding down the seeds like there was no tomorrow!
They knew just what those were for! You must have given them some pumpkin seeds before you sent them up, eh? They sure didn't waste any time looking at them, trying to figure out what they were. Just slurp! Slurp! Slurp! Maggie didn't even manage to get in there and get her share before they were all gone!
OK, I have tons of stuff to get done today, not the least of which is trying to get to town to send out some packages in the hopes that they'll get to their destination in time for Christmas! Y'all have a super day, and don't forget to hug your chickens!
