I didn't remember his name being Blue. Looks like you have fun dressing him!

Cheyenne's little EE looks quite at home sitting there on her knee. Does she lay nice green or blue eggs? I love all the different colors of eggs. I really want some pink darkened up to a darker shade.... kinda lilac colored.

Kathy are you planning on driving or flying?

I will probably hit up a hotel too. I'm sure either date will work for me. Probably best to stay away from Mother's day though.....just a thought.

I will bring me, power tools and plans. Hatching eggs if I have any available or chicks of the same.

SO will not be coming with me. Ha. He can stay home and play video games all weekend while I "talk chicken".

Yay! Should be super exciting!

Aw, I just got an email from one of my bantam cochin buyers.......they took home 5 girls on Saturday. The family with the kids that were coming to pick them out......they emailed to say how happy they were and how one of the kids has been carrying one of the girls around for days, how sweet they were and how they had even gotten an egg! AW, that just makes me happy. My bantam girls are all pretty sweet but I don't have the time to give them any attention. So glad, they are in a home where they can be spoiled rotten now. AND kept in a covered pen so they won't be hawk food.

I'm full of warm fuzzies!

It really does make it all worth while when you find the perfect home for your birds, doesn't it Nella! I understand that warm fuzzy feeling. Like when I handed Griffin and two of his ladies over to a young woman and her daughter. I knew immediately that they were going to a great home. I still get an email from time to time with tales of Griffin's exploits as the head rooster of a rather eclectic flock [chickens, quail, ducks and geese

] He's much happier in his new home with his new Chicken Mom! And that was all that mattered to me. He was just too pretty to become Sunday dinner.

Nella...if Cyn is coming bring your bumblefoot girl!

Inkheart...you are invited to ya know

Ah yes, I will bring my bumblefoot girl also. Hopefully by then it will be all cleared up though! But I have a rough yard, so I bet if I looked at everyone's feet, somebody would have it. The people who lived here before thought burying their trash was a good idea. Every time any spot gets dug into, we find trash. Including, trailer hitches, old shoes, BROKEN BOTTLES, etc. Idiots

LadyHawk, is your place covered? Ie, do you have covered workspace? I don't think I have ever had a day down near Lexington where it didn't RAIN horrifically.......

Wasn't sure how big your barn was......

I should bring my "temporary pen", that I brought to the sadieville swap. Assuming it is not in use here at the time. Super easy to make......maybe we could just make one that day instead? Everybody should have temporary pen panels on hand.
